FLASHES OF HOPE
My name is Allison Clarke and I am the founder of Flashes of Hope www.flashesofhope.org, a non profit organization that works with commercial photographers to photograph children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
ASMP members are exempt from our application process and we worked closely with Eugene Mopsik to revise our copyright agreements.
Our chapter in Atlanta is off to a great start and has already reached more than 120 children. Monthly shoots are held from 9:30-12, alternating between Scottish Rite and Egleston campuses. We are currently working with ASMP members in Cleveland, Atlanta, Washington and Philadelphia.
We are currently working with ASMP members in Cleveland, Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia and Denver (first shoot will be held on May 9th). Photo shoots are booked 3-4 weeks in advance and most photographers complete one shoot a year.
In addition, we are revamping our web site to include local galleries. You can view the comp at: http://www.nsideas.com/
foh_newtemplates/photo.html Phase Two will allow the end user to click on the photographer names to see additional commercial work that the photographer has done. We think its a great way to honor the work of the photographer and weed out the non commercial photographers as we continue our expansion.
