ASMP BULLETIN -
A monthly magazine presenting news and features.
The ASMP BUSINESS BIBLE -
A guide for professional media photographers, containing business information gathered over the years. The publication is in a binder which can be updated continually. General and associate members receive the Business Bible free.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY -
Published annually. This lists all members and affiliates with addresses, phone/fax/e-mail. Provided to all members and affiliates free.
WHITE PAPERS -
Special publications dealing with specific concerns of photographers. Members receive free copies; affiliates may purchase them at discount prices.
ADVOCACY -
Lobbying and legal actions selevtively directed at setting precedent, modifying laws and legislation at federal and state level.
CHAPTER AFFILIATION -
ASMP has a nationwide network of 37 chapters which provide a wide range of seminars, workshops, and local news.
EDUCATION -
ASMP is committed to furthering education for photographers of all levels through its publications and programs.
INSURANCE -
Life, comprehensive medical, major medical, and disability insurance are all avaliable. ASMP offers an accidental death and dismemberment plan. The Society pioneered the development of Prosurance, a liability and camera insurance policy designed for professional photographers. Coverage may also be obtained for workers compensation, weather, animal mortality, cast/models and umbrella liability. A program is also available to members only to insure funds for losses incurred through incorrect processing by labs.

OTHER BENEFITS -
General members receive the ASMP Press card, all other members and affiliates receive member or affiliate cards which come with a set of handy reference phone numbers for various services. Other benefits include car rental discount cards, x-ray protection labels, access to discounted overnight delivery services, stationary supplies, and computer equipment. Members are also eligible to participate in electronic forums on the Internet and CompuServe.
GOOD OFFICES -
Members receive consultation and advice on business problems and concerns from expert staff at ASMP's national office.
MEDIA PHOTOGRAPHERS' COPYRIGHT AGENCY -
Only ASMP members are eligible to join MP©A which was established by the agency to license, market, and protect members' work in electronic publishing. Members pay a separate fee to join this agency, which is aggressively researching and exploiting new markets for photographers. MP©A has a strategic alliance with two major organizations, Applied Graphics Technologies and the Copyright Clearance Center, to meet its goals.
NATIONAL CREDIT -
NCS is the Accounts Receivable Management firm endorsed by the American Society of Media Photographers. NCS recovers delinquent accounts and bad checks for over 9,000 companies, institutions, and healthcare professionals nationwide. We offer a collection system which increases recovery rate, lowers collection costs, and improves cash flow.
